Embryology Services

RGI's IVF Lab was established in 1990. Our College of American Pathologists (CAP) certified embryology lab operates year-round and employs four embryologists and additional support personnel. Our IVF laboratory program includes services in all aspects of ART. We consistently use IVF techniques such as oocyte/embryo culture, insemination (including ICSI), blastocyst culture and transfer, embryo and oocyte cryopreservation (egg freezing), vitrification and all types of embryo biopsies. Our IVF lab was one of the first in the United States to offer preimplantation genetic screening/diagnosis (PGS/PGD).

RGI's embryology laboratory is nationally accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP), certifying that the lab is one of an exclusive group of reproductive labs in the U.S. that meets the highest standards of excellence as recognized by its peers. It is directed by our certified embryology laboratory director, Dr Svetlana Rechitsky, PhD.
